How far is Soléa from La Mesa?
About nine miles, fifteen minutes on the 8 west to Mission Center Road, with free covered parking in the building. You can also take the Orange Line trolley from La Mesa Boulevard or Grossmont Transit Center to the Green Line and get off at Hazard Center, next door to us.
Who performs the treatments?
Kassandra Marin, RN BSN, Soléa's Co-Founder, under the medical direction of Dr. Guillermo Castillo, MD. The same person treats you every visit.
I have rosacea. Can I still get skin treatments?
Often yes, but not all of them, and the sequencing matters. Rosacea and redness respond badly to overly aggressive treatment, so the plan usually starts gentler and builds. Sometimes the honest answer is to treat the redness first and revisit texture later.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. Everything runs by appointment, including consultations, so nobody is rushed. Same-day appointments are sometimes available, so call (619) 432-6700 and ask.
What's the difference between microneedling and PRF microneedling?
Standard microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries so your skin rebuilds collagen, and PRF microneedling adds platelet-rich fibrin drawn from your own blood to push the healing response further. PRF costs more and is usually recommended for deeper scarring or more laxity. If standard microneedling will get you there, that is what you will be offered.
